While our laser works on all hair types (thin or coarse), there are unfortunately no laser hair removal devices on the market that can target grey hair. This is because the laser light targets the pigment in the hair follicle which grey hair does not have. Red and vellus hair will see a slight hair reduction rather than permenant hair removal for the same reason. Please feel free to contact us should you wish to clarify any of the above.

A typical course of hair removal treatments involves between 8 and 12 sessions, some less and some more - this depends from person to person. The number of sessions can also depend on the area being treated (eg: hair grows slower on the body than on the face).

For your first 2-3 sessions, we advise a session every 4 weeks to target the hair growth while the hair is still dense. As the hair density reduces, depending on the area, we recommend a session every 5-8 weeks.

Depending on the area being treated, each area ranges between 10 and 45 minutes long. Larger areas are significantly quicker than other laser hair removal salons as we use the 2cm speed laser handpiece, to quicker target the area.

Although not necessary, we suggest a follow up session 6 months after your last session, thereafter once yearly. We offer a 50% discount on maintenance sessions after 12 treatments on a specific area.
